Driving and need to send or reply to an e-mail? Simply call your personal jott number and speak! Your voice message is translated into text.

I use it mostly for to dos, notes, ideas, etc when I'm driving. When I get back to the office, it's all in my e-mail box.  

Could be great for project updates as well. You can create a group and broadcast a message out with one quick call.

Yes- I failed to mentioned the most important aspect - it's free. Another great tool if you use outlook is a program called Xobni (inbox spelled backwards). This program is definitely on the top of my list. This program will blow you away - and it's free as well.

Jott now works with twitter!

I created an web site that I use as a "intranet" for project and team collaboration.

I installed a twitter portal on my web "intranet" home page. Now, if I am on the road, I can pick up the phone and "Jott" to twitter. For example: I say "Project 123; QA performed; punchlist to completed by Friday".

Now, all team members will see the update - either on the web page or on their phone. Twitter keeps all messages so essentially I have a dynamic (real time) status reporting. And it's FREE!!
